About the Artist

Jacqueline Joyce is a New York based artist who specializes in drawings, paintings, prints and other illustrative works of the fantasy genre. Jacqueline holds a BFA in Drawing and Painting from SUNY Purchase and is currently pursuing her MFA in Illustration at Western Connecticut State University. Heavily influenced by titles such as Heavy Metal, Lord of the Rings and Dungeons and Dragons, as well as renaissance and Victorian art history. She has been artistically exploring folklorish and dreamlike worlds since childhood. Jacqueline’s work is often based on characters, places and events that only exist in the fantastic realms of fiction.
